OFRAT GILADY-STEN I build my artworks from different clay bodies that vary in plasticity, color and firing temperatures. Some of my ceramics are fine art while others are functional. In addition, I explore many styles: some may be considered contemporary while others traditional; I employ different building techniques of hand building as well as using a pottery wheel. In my artworks I combine coils, slabs and weaving, with wheel throwing pots. I also explore glazing, carving and decorating techniques. My work with clay is an ongoing discovery that allows me to be creative and most important enjoyable. |

Children oftentimes resort to dreams and the imagination as means of escape from fears and demons and David tries to capture these concepts in his art. His paintings and drawings manifest how our children’s lives are not only shaped by what they learn in the home but also by what they see and experience both outside of it and in.
